I audit your agency. You get the truth.
No sales pitch. No fluff. I look at the same data your agency sees, and I tell you what they won’t. The entire process is designed to give you clarity without disrupting your business.
of UK SMBs switched marketing agencies in the past year citing insufficient ROI
You suspect something is off. You’re probably right.
The reports look impressive. The charts point upward. But your phone isn’t ringing more, your pipeline isn’t growing, and the numbers in the agency deck don’t match reality.
I’ve been on the other side. I ran an agency. I know exactly how the game works, which metrics get cherry-picked, and where the money actually disappears. That’s why my process is built for one thing: getting you answers you can act on.
Four steps. No mysteries.
Every engagement follows the same disciplined process. It’s designed to minimise disruption to your day while maximising what I uncover.
Request your free assessment
Fill in the assessment request form or drop me an email. It takes two minutes. I ask a handful of questions about your current setup so I can gauge whether my service is the right fit before either of us invests more time.
- Brief description of your business and objectives
- Monthly marketing spend (roughly)
- Current agency arrangement and duration
- What’s bothering you (in your own words)
Share the data (view-only is fine)
If we’re a good fit, I’ll ask for access to your existing marketing data. View-only permissions on your ad platforms. Recent agency reports. Your contract. That’s it. No disruption to live campaigns, no contacting your agency, no drama.
- 3 to 6 months of performance reports
- View-only access to Google Ads, Meta, Analytics
- Current agency contract and fee structure
- Any specific concerns or questions you have
I dig into everything
This is where 12+ years of agency experience earns its keep. I audit your campaigns the way I’d audit my own. Not with a template or a checklist from a blog post. With the eyes of someone who knows where agencies hide the bodies.
- Actual campaign management activity (or lack of it)
- Real cost per lead vs. what you’ve been told
- Fee transparency and hidden markups
- Reporting accuracy against raw platform data
- Contract terms that favour the agency over you
- Whether anyone is actually optimising your spend
You get a written report. No strings attached.
A comprehensive, plain-English document that tells you exactly where you stand. What’s working. What’s being wasted. What’s been hidden. And what to do about it. You own this report regardless of whether you engage my ongoing services.
- Performance analysis tied to actual business outcomes
- Spend efficiency breakdown with true cost-per-lead
- Specific recommendations you can action immediately
- Red flags in your contract or agency practices
- Clear next steps, whether you stay or switch
What the report covers
Every assessment is tailored, but every client walks away with clarity on these fundamentals.
True Cost Analysis
Your real cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and total marketing cost including every hidden fee and markup. Not the sanitised version from your agency report.
Activity Audit
Hard evidence of whether your campaigns are being actively managed or quietly running on autopilot. Change logs, optimisation frequency, creative refresh cycles.
Reporting vs. Reality
A side-by-side comparison of what your agency tells you versus what the raw platform data actually shows. Discrepancies are documented.
Contract Review
A practical assessment of your agency contract. Auto-renewal traps, exit barriers, liability caps, IP ownership gaps, and data access restrictions.
Performance Benchmark
How your campaigns compare against industry benchmarks for businesses of your size and sector. Context that your agency rarely provides.
Action Plan
Prioritised recommendations. What to fix immediately, what to raise with your agency, and whether staying or switching makes more financial sense.
My assessment guarantee
I provide a comprehensive written report regardless of whether you engage my ongoing services. This isn’t a teaser designed to upsell you. It’s a complete, actionable document. It alone typically identifies savings opportunities of 20-30% of current marketing spend. If you decide to stop there, that’s fine. You keep the report. No hard feelings, no follow-up pressure.
Common questions
Not from me. I only need view-only access to your advertising platforms and copies of your reports. I never contact your agency, never access their internal systems, and never reveal that an audit is taking place. You decide if and when your agency learns about it.
From the moment I have all the data, typically 5 to 10 working days for the full report. The more complex your setup (multiple platforms, large spend), the closer to 10 days. I don’t rush it because thoroughness is the entire point.
That’s already a finding. If your agency controls your accounts and won’t grant you access, that tells me a lot. I can still work with whatever reports and data you do have, and the lack of access becomes part of my assessment.
The initial assessment is genuinely free and genuinely complete. I do offer ongoing oversight services, and I’ll mention them exactly once at the end. But the report stands on its own. Most clients tell me it paid for itself (figuratively) within the first week just from the savings they identified.
UK SMBs spending at least £3,000 per month on marketing who work with an external agency or in-house team. If you’ve been wondering whether your agency is actually delivering value or just producing nice-looking reports, this is built for you.
Because I’m not trying to win your account. Agencies that offer free audits are auditioning to replace your current provider. I’m not an agency. I don’t run campaigns. I don’t want your retainer. My only job is to tell you the truth about what’s happening with your marketing spend.
